The Desert Reset

Seven days. Three guides. One extraordinary landscape. Space to discover what becomes possible from here.

You do not have to be at a breaking point to want more room.

You do not have to be lost to want a clearer view.

You do not have to know what needs to change.

You may arrive tired.

Curious.

Restless.

Content, but wondering.

In the middle of a transition.

At the beginning of something.

At the end of something.

Or simply ready to step outside the patterns of ordinary life long enough to notice what else is available.

The Desert Reset is seven days in the Arizona desert created around that possibility.

Not a program designed to fix you.

Not a retreat built around one method.

Not seven days of being told who you should become.

It is what happens when Erika, Wanda, and Melissa bring different ways of seeing, moving, questioning, and creating into one shared experience.

Each brings a distinct body of work.

Each opens a different doorway.

Together, they create a retreat none of them would create alone.

Yoga.

Somatic Cartography.

Vulnerability.

Creativity.

Positivity.

Awe.

Sound.

Ceremony.

Fire.

Reflection.

Open space.

Shared meals.

Quiet.

Conversation.

The desert itself.

No single experience is the retreat.

The relationship among them is the retreat.

And the invitation is simple:

Come as you are.

See what becomes available.

What Might You Receive?

No matter where you begin, the week offers opportunities to receive something useful.

More space inside your own life.

A clearer sense of what you want.

A stronger relationship with your own preferences.

A renewed ability to notice what your body is telling you.

A different relationship with fear.

A wider sense of possibility.

More ease with uncertainty.

A deeper experience of connection.

A moment of awe.

A truth you are finally ready to name.

A question that is better than the answer you arrived with.

A remembered desire.

A stronger sense of agency.

Permission to rest.

Permission to choose.

Permission to not know yet.

Or simply the experience of feeling more present in your own life.

You do not have to leave with all of these.

You do not have to leave transformed.

The point is not to manufacture a breakthrough.

The point is to create conditions in which something meaningful can become visible.

A Seven-Day Arc

The retreat follows the seven chakras as a loose organizing framework.

You do not need to know anything about chakras.

You do not need to believe anything about them.

We use them as one map among many—a way of moving through different dimensions of human experience over the course of the week.

The arc is:

Arrive.
Receive.
Choose.
Connect.
Speak.
See.
Return.

The first five days are the heart of the exploration.

The sixth creates space for integration.

The seventh is a final gathering and return.

Day One — Arrive

First Chakra: Earth, Sky & Orientation

The reset begins with the most basic question:

Where am I?

Before deciding where you want to go, you get to arrive.

In your body.

On the land.

Under the desert sky.

In this particular moment.

Through first-chakra yoga, earth and sky connection, and Somatic Cartography, we begin with sensory awareness, support, place, orientation, and the experience of locating yourself.

Not forcing yourself to feel grounded.

Not trying to calm down correctly.

Simply gathering enough information to know:

I am here.

You will also choose one place in the landscape to return to each day—a personal vantage point where you can pause, notice, and allow your relationship with the desert and with yourself to unfold over time.

The first day does not ask you to become anything.

It asks you to arrive.

And sometimes arrival is already a reset.

Day Two — Receive

Second Chakra: Vulnerability, Creativity & the Autumnal Equinox

Day Two falls on the autumnal equinox—a threshold between seasons, when light and dark meet in balance.

We let the day carry some of that same quality.

There is spaciousness.

There is ceremony.

There is vulnerability.

There is creative reflection.

There is room to be affected.

The invitation is not to decide what everything means.

It is to notice what you are receiving.

What is shifting?

What are you making room for?

What feels newly available?

What happens when you do not immediately organize, improve, or explain your experience?

Sometimes change begins through action.

Sometimes it begins by becoming receptive enough to notice that the season has already turned.

Day Three — Choose

Third Chakra: Pleasure, Preference & Agency

The third chakra brings us into personal power.

We approach that through pleasure.

Not pleasure as indulgence.

Pleasure as information.

Through Somatic Cartography, we explore one of the body's simplest and most honest languages:

This.

Not that.

More.

Less.

Yes.

No.

Enough.

What happens when you allow yourself to have a preference?

What if you do not need to justify it?

What if your lived experience is relevant simply because it is yours?

This is an exploration of agency through the body.

A chance to practice recognizing what you want, what you do not want, and what becomes possible when you allow that information to matter.

That evening, the day shifts from choosing into receiving through Sound Bath and Yoga.

Sound and vibration offer another doorway into experience—one that asks less of the thinking mind.

After a day of noticing preference, the evening invites surrender.

Not disappearance.

Not passivity.

The capacity to remain yourself while receiving.

Both matter.

The ability to choose.

And the ability to receive.

Day Four — Connect

Fourth Chakra: Positivity, Relationship & Awe

By the fourth day, the field widens.

We move from the question:

What is true for me?

toward:

What becomes possible in relationship?

Relationship with other people.

With beauty.

With the natural world.

With joy.

With wonder.

With something larger than our usual frame of attention.

Through positivity and an evening exploration of awe, we encounter experiences that can enlarge the map.

Awe can interrupt familiar thinking.

It can change scale.

It can make the world feel bigger.

It can remind us that possibility often appears when our attention expands beyond what we already know.

Connection here does not mean losing yourself.

It means discovering whether you can stay in relationship with yourself while also allowing the world to reach you.

Day Five — Speak

Fifth Chakra: Truth, Courage & True Personal Power

Eventually, every familiar map reaches an edge.

The place where you do not quite know.

The conversation you have avoided.

The desire you have not named.

The possibility that excites you and scares you at the same time.

The territory marked:

Here be dragons.

Through Somatic Cartography, we explore fear and personal power without asking you to conquer anything.

Instead, we become curious.

What do I actually know?

What am I assuming?

What information is missing?

What is fear trying to tell me?

What support do I need?

What is true for me here?

What choice is still available?

True personal power is not fearlessness.

It is the ability to remain in relationship with yourself when fear is present.

It is the capacity to tell the truth about your experience and participate in what happens next.

That evening, we gather around the Fire Circle.

Fire gives the day another language.

Some things need words.

Some need witness.

Some need silence.

Some are ready to be released.

Some deserve to be named and carried forward.

The Fire Circle becomes a threshold between exploration and integration.

A place to honor what has emerged before we stop seeking new material.

Day Six — See

Sixth Chakra: Integration

For five days, you have been gathering experience.

Now we stop adding.

This is intentional.

Sixth-chakra yoga opens the day, followed by private sessions, free time, rest, reflection, conversation, walking, quiet, and whatever your system seems to need.

This is not an empty day.

It is an integration day.

Instead of asking:

What else should I learn?

we begin asking:

What can I see now?

What keeps appearing?

What surprised me?

What has shifted?

What has stayed the same?

What seems connected now that did not seem connected before?

What did my body know before I had words for it?

This is where separate experiences may begin becoming a map.

That evening, we gather for a Full Moon Celebration.

Not another lesson.

A celebration.

A moment to recognize what has come into view.

To gather under the desert sky.

To mark the experience of having lived these days together.

The full moon becomes a fitting image for the day:

illumination.

Not because everything is solved.

Because more can now be seen.

Day Seven — Return

Seventh Chakra: Completion & Continuance

The final morning is simple.

Seventh-chakra yoga.

One last gathering.

No new curriculum.

No final assignment.

No demand to promise who you will become when you get home.

Instead, we ask:

What am I carrying with me?

What do I know now because I was here?

What became clearer?

What became more possible?

What surprised me?

What do I want to continue exploring?

What belongs to me now?

Then we leave.

Because the purpose of a reset is not to escape your life.

It is to return to it with more room, more information, and more possibility.

Why Three Guides?

Because no one person has the whole map.

That is part of the design.

Erika, Wanda, and Melissa each bring a different body of experience and a different way of inviting you into relationship with yourself.

There are places where their work overlaps.

There are places where it does not.

That is valuable.

Because your life is not one-dimensional either.

Sometimes the doorway is movement.

Sometimes it is vulnerability.

Sometimes pleasure.

Sometimes awe.

Sometimes truth.

Sometimes sound.

Sometimes fire.

Sometimes laughter over a meal.

Sometimes being alone long enough to notice what you have been missing.

Sometimes the thing that matters most is something none of us could have predicted.

We create the conditions.

You discover what matters.

What If a Reset Is Not About Starting Over?

Maybe you do not need a new life.

Maybe you need a different relationship with the life you already have.

Maybe you need more access to your own preferences.

Maybe you need to remember what aliveness feels like.

Maybe you need enough distance to see what is working.

Maybe you need permission to stop pushing.

Maybe you need a new question.

Maybe you are standing at an edge.

Maybe nothing is wrong at all.

Maybe something in you simply knows there is more available.

That is enough.

You do not have to arrive knowing what you need.

You do not have to leave with an answer.

Come to the desert.

Move.

Rest.

Eat.

Listen.

Explore.

Laugh.

Receive.

Choose.

Connect.

Speak.

Look at the sky.

Let yourself be surprised.

See what becomes visible when three guides, a small group of fellow travelers, seven days, and the desert itself create something none of us could create alone.

The Desert Reset

Come as you are.

Leave with more of yourself available to you.
